About Jenna
Hi! My name is Jenna
Redlinger and this year I am co-teaching with Carol here at
Polaris. Currently I am a senior in the Early Childhood
Education program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I
am very excited about becoming an early childhood educator.
Children grow and learn so much during these beginning
years, and as a teacher I hope to help them develop
socially, emotionally, and academically.
I am an Alaskan through and through. I attended elementary,
junior, and high school in the Anchorage School District. I
enjoy classic Alaskan summer activities like camping,
biking, and fishing. During the winter I enjoy Alaskan
activities such as sledding, snowboarding, and curling up
in bed on a cold day with a good book and a cup of hot
coco. Alaska has given me so much and I hope as a teacher I
will be able to give something back to the Anchorage
community.
I look forward to getting to know all of you this year, and
I thank you for this professional development
opportunity.
